APPEND for Kaito

Sukses dengan APPEND-nya Miku dan Kagamine Rin/Len, ternyata lewat akun twitter-nya, Crypton Future Media juga bakal bikin APPEND buat Kaito. Sejauh ini sudah ada 4 jenis suara untuk Kaito, yakni "Mellow", "Sweet", "Solid", dan "Power". Proses pembuatan APPEND ini ternyata sudah berjalan sejak 9 Desember 2010 lalu. Kita tunggu saja gimana jadinya ^^

Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta

Salah satu karya mothy a.k.a Akuno-P selain Aku no Monogatari n 7 Deadly Sins, 1 lagi seri cerita yang masih berhubungan sama 2 seri tadi yaitu Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta (ぜんまい仕掛けの子守唄) atau dalam bahasa Inggris berarti Clockwork Lullaby. Mungkin dibanding Aku no Monogatari atau 7 Deadly Sins, seri ini yang paling agak "terlupakan" karena kalah pamor kebanding 2 seri lainnya.

Ciri khas seri Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta ini terletak pada pola "lu li la" yang berulang dan ada pada setiap lagu di seri ini. Sejauh ini, 4 lagu Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta sudah dirilis di NicoNicoDouga, lagu-lagu tersebut terdiri dari:

1. Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta (ぜんまい仕掛けの子守唄, dinyanyikan Kagamine Rin)
2. Hakoniwa no Shoujo (箱庭の少女, berarti Girl of Miniature Garden, dinyanyikan Hatsune Miku)
3. Re_birthday (dinyanyikan Kagamine Len) 
4. Heartbeat Clocktower (dinyanyikan oleh Kaito)

Meski Heartbeat Clocktower disebut-sebut sebagai lagu terakhir di seri ini, dalam album mothy, Aku no Oukoku, track terakhir yang tidak tercantum dalam daftar track, juga memiliki pola "lu li la", namun belum jelas apakah lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Kagamine Rin & Len ini juga termasuk Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta (tapi besar kemungkinan memang seri ini).

Plot cerita Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta sendiri sama sekali tidak urut. Plot cerita menjadi lebih jelas dengan dirilisnya Heartbeat Clocktower. Lagu Akutoku no Judgment yang termasuk seri 7 Deadly Sins juga turut memperjelas seri ini.

Dalam Zenmaijikake no Komoriuta, dikisahkan seorang kolektor (Kaito) mengumpulkan 7 Deadly Sins. Sang kolektor memiliki clocktower (Rin). tidak seperti clocktower pada umumnya, suara Rin berpola "lu li la" yang bisa mencapai hati mana pun, termasuk ke orang-orang yang berada dalam situasi (semacam) purgatory (penyucian) seperti Len dalam Re_birthday. Makin lama, Rin sebagai clocktower menjadi rusak dan berkarat. Karena tidak mau Rin menghilang, sang kolektor mengorbankan "hatinya" demi Rin. Belakangan, lewat Akutoku no Judgment, diketahui bahwa sang kolektor juga bekerja sebagai hakim dalam pengadilan. Sayangnya, dalam mengemban tugas, sang kolektor malah membela siapa pun yang membayar mahal padanya (makanya meski ia sang kolektor, ia sendiri mengemban dosa serakah). Tujuan sang kolektor mengumpulkan dosa-dosa ternyata supaya dia bisa membuat "surga" bagi dirinya dan putrinya tercinta (Miku dari Hakoniwa no Shoujo, sebenarnya Miku sendiri merupakan boneka buatan sang kolektor yang ia sebut "putri"). Sayangnya, suatu ia membela seseorang yang bersalah karena uang, para orang-orang yang mengetahui kecurangannya marah dan membakar rumah dan teater tempat ia dan putrinya tinggal. Demi putrinya, akhirnya sang kolektor mengorbankan nyawanya dan hanya menyisakan putrinya sebagai "peninggalan seorang pria kesepian". Namun sebelum meninggal, sang kolektor membuat teater kecil di tengah hutan sebagai tempat menyimpan dan menampilkan dosa-dosa yang telah ia kumpulkan. 

Bisa dibilang, yang memperjelas cerita malahan Akutoku no Judgment, karena dalam lagu tersebut mengisahkan tentang sang kolektor beserta cita-cita dan perbuatannya. Dalam seri ini, sepertinya Kaito berperan ganda, sebagai sang kolektor, sekaligus penjaga clocktower, karena di Heartbeat Clocktower, ia menyebut sang kolektor dengan sebutan "dia" (kodoku na otoko/lonely man, dalam lirik aslinya). Si penjaga clocktower sendiri sepertinya turut tewas karena berusaha melindungi clocktower dari serangan orang-orang yang mengamuk akibat tindakan sang kolektor.

Di Heartbeat Clocktower juga terungkap kalau The Daughter of Evil (Rin, dengan dosa superbia/sombong) dan Vanika Conchita (Meiko, dengan dosa gula/rakus) telah bereinkarnasi. Rin menjadi salah satu pekerja (atau mungkin penjaga) di teater sang kolektor, sementara Vanika Conchita kini mendapat gelar "Master of the Graveyard" (masih soal makan memakan). Sepertinya Enbizaka no Shitateya (Luka) dan Duke Venomania (Gakupo) juga bakal mendapat kesempatan bereinkarnasi, karena dalam Heartbeat Clocktower terdapat lirik ini, ["Bloodstained scissors" "Purple sword", waiting on the days they've met to remember].

Plot Summary:
One day, Komuro Takashi, a high school student saw a teacher is bitten by a zombie. Soon after, the zombie pandemic spreads through Fujimi High School, the entire city, even the entire world. In this situation, Komuro urges his childhood friend whom he likes, Miyamoto Rei, and her boyfriend, Igou Hisashi. Actually, Komuro likes Rei, even made a promise to marry when they're still little kids, but he has no courage to confess so Rei is having a relationship with Hisashi. Unfortunately, in the try to escape from the zombies, Hisashi is bitten and when the wound is getting worse, he asks Komuro to kill him so he won't be a zombie and still a human until the end. After Hisashi's death, Rei is shocked but has no choice but keep running and fighting the zombies. While trying to get out of the high school, they met Takagi Saya, Hirano Kouta, Busujima Saeko, and their teacher (school nurse to be exact), Marikawa Shizuka. Together, they fight and run from the zombies, trying to find a safe place and search for their remaining family member.

Review:
Actually, it's an old anime and I'm so damn late to review this. But since this will be my opinion, so I think it's okay to review this.

First, I like the story although zombie-themed anime and movie is common, but High School of the Dead (HOTD) is capable to give the audience horror, comedy, drama, even fanservice (yup, boys' gonna love this). But I must admit that sometimes the fanservice given is so boyish, just look at the character design and you'll see why XD
Once I watch the first episode, I feel like I wanna keep watching it! Their way to escape from the zombies is cool, especially Kouta's way to use guns! (Yay!!! Don't underestimate otaku!) The sadistic and bloody scenes are superb too! Not just a good story, the animation quality is also good (and smooth and stable, good job!) Plus, OP and ED songs are awesome too. The jokes given isn't lame at all, love it. Character development is also well done, no weird development. I mean, all the characters finally could develop through one episode to another. And please note, with all of the fanservice and sadistic scene, this anime is obviously not for children!

mothy's New Album: 『悪徳のジャッジメント～a court of greed～』

I just downloaded Aku no Oukoku and when I visited mothy's blog, The Heavenly Yard, I found this. The album was released on January 16, 2011. The album is titled Akutoku no Judgment ~a court of greed~. I hope I will find the download link soon. Actually, it's not very expensive, the price is 800 Yen (about IDR 80.000) I could buy it, but I couldn't find where to buy it T_T

Madame Merry-Go-Round is a Miku's song. The fifth track is also interesting, it's not published in NicoNicoDouga yet. The last track is the twin's song ^^

Setelah menemukan kembali hardisk portable gw tercinta, gw langsung buka-buka lagi koleksi lagu Vocaloid yang udah gw download tapi belum juga gw denger. Pas lagi liat lagu-lagu Miku, gw ketemu lagu Rolling Girl ini. Entah kenapa gw yang jarang suka sama lagu Miku mendadak kepincut sama lagu satu ini. Lagunya sih (kalo menurut gw) cukup ear-catchy dan suaranya Miku pas sama lagu ini. Btw view Rolling Girl di NicoNicoDouga udah nyampe 1 juta lebih ^^

Yang gw tangkep waktu baca liriknya sih, lagu ini tentang cewek yang tiap kali gagal selalu kembali "berputar" bahkan sampai melukai diri sendiri tapi tetep meyakinkan diri kalau dia bisa mencapai tujuannya.
