Update About Vocaloid3: Megpoid (Gumi) Voicebank

 

Regarding their Vocaloid3, INTERNET's website has finally updated information about Gumi's new voicebank which will be released as Vocaloid3.

According to the tweet from INTERNET's CEO Murakami Noboru, seems like the name "Extend" has been dropped now because the new voicebank will be sold separately so not to be confusing, they decided to drop the "Extend" name and changed it into Vocaloid3: Megpoid.

It is said that demo songs and illustration will be revealed by the end of September. For now, only the silhouettes are available.

The software is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2011. Downloadable version will available but the price hasn't been decided yet. Here's the list of the packs: (please note that Tiny Vocaloid3 editor is only the trial version)

You won't need to have Vocaloid2 Megpoid (Gumi) to install the software because basically this is a Vocaloid3 and it will work only on Vocaloid3.

The original Megpoid (Gumi) version as well as other Vocaloid from INTERNET such as Gackpoid (Gakupo), Lily, and Gachapoid will be importable to Vocaloid3 for free. Discounts for Vocaloid2 users are also available by registering to INTERNET's official site.
