After almost one year after Karakuri卍Burst, Hitoshizuku-P finally uploaded a new song (with video of course ^^) into Nico Nico Douga. The new song, titled "Haitoku no Hana" (背徳の花, in English "Corrupted Flower") was uploaded on 28th December 2011. A bit late for the twins' birthday? No problem. Awesome song is still awesome no matter when it's uploaded, right? The beautiful illustration is done by Suzunosuke as usual and the mixing is of course done by Yama△.
The song itself tells about a young officer and a young girl he meets in a pleasure district. The young officer is brought there by his commanding to see the popular dancer. The man (Len) is attracted with the girl (Rin) who is dancing beautifully. He soon gets attracted by her. Driven by desire, the two dance together. Rin fells in love with Len who simply thinks that love is just an illusion. But since he feels a bit guilty for the girl, he lies and says that he loves her. Rin realizes that Len is jusy lying to her but deep in her heart, she really falls in love with him. But in the end, Len realizes that he really falls in love with Rin. But both of them can't express their true feeling (Len still doubts his own feeling, whether it's a fake or not). Len finally decides to end his feelings. Rin actually still loves him but she realizes that their separation is a fate and she knows that asking for love to him is just impossible. The two separate in the end.
If I may give my comment, the basic story is pretty similar to Yumezakura, where they both also fall in love but FINALLY THEY SEPARATE T_T (And the pleasure district again? It reminds me of Amayumerou! >.<)
What a tragic love story, right? But maybe the tragic part makes me love this song *sigh*
But I also love the tune, though. And even without knowing the meaning, I bet you can tell that this is a tragic love song.
And talking about the lyrics, I only managed to get the romaji and the kanji version. So far, there's still no English translation. But me, driven by insanity, decided to translate it with my low level Japanese. Yes, you read it right. I translated it.
